Annika is no stranger to working with children!   She is professionally trained in both dance and elementary education.   She has studied dance since the age of five and is professionally trained in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical.  She attended Montclair State University where she received her degree in K-5 Elementary Education with a minor in Musical Theater.   She completed her education with a masters degree in Special Education from Georgian Court.   Annika currently works as a special education elementary school teacher here in the state of New Jersey.  She has been teaching various genres of dance, specializing in younger children, for almost ten years, but her true passion is musical theater.  Annika takes great pride in the kids musical theater shows which she has directed and choreographed, including Peter Pan, Seussical, The Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid.  She is extremely excited to expand her career here at JZT!
