About JZT Dance

Welcome to JZT Dance! Located in Weehawken, New Jersey, we provide top-tier dance training for children ages 3 to 18. Our wide array of classes includes Classical Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Musical Theater, and Children's Combination Classes. Whether your child is new to dance or refining their skills, we offer a supportive environment to foster growth and passion for the art form.

At JZT Dance, we are especially proud of our exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable staff. Our instructors bring years of professional training, performance experience, and a deep commitment to nurturing each student’s potential. This wealth of expertise ensures that every dancer receives the highest level of instruction, with a strong emphasis on perfecting technique while also cultivating confidence, coordination, musicality, rhythm, and teamwork.

The highlight of our dance season is our annual recital in early June, where all students have the opportunity to perform on stage and showcase their progress. This professional production allows students to experience the thrill of live performance and gives parents a chance to witness their child’s growth throughout the year.

For those looking to take their passion for dance to the next level, we also offer Dance Company opportunities. These programs provide a chance to compete and perform at various competitions and venues, giving students a broader range of performance experiences.

Our Expansion!

JZT has grown each year since our opening in 2015!  Our love for dance continues to reach more families and has exploded into the creation of our amazing Dance Company as well as a progression into new genres of dance styles.

With the work that was finally completed over the summer of 2019, our studio has flourished from two rooms into a third with an expanded lobby area.  Our new and largest studio room features high ceilings and a spectacular sprung mahogany dance floor!  All our growth has been humbling and we are grateful to our Dance Community, as it is all because of our wonderful families who have become part of our JZT Family!
